Anzac Day Service

On Friday morning, our school community gathered for a moving assembly to observe ANZAC Day. The atmosphere in the hall was one of profound stillness and respect as students and staff joined together to honor the sacrifice of those who served. Through the playing of the Last Post, a shared minute of silence, and the presentation of our ANZAC Honour Board, we reflected on the shared values of courage and mateship. Our student leaders delivered poignant readings that reminded us of the heavy cost of war and the importance of peace. It was a remarkably solemn and respectful tribute, demonstrating our collective gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy today. This ceremony was followed by our participation in the annual ANZAC Day March through the streets of Camden on Saturday 25th April. Again, a large Magdalene student contingent were present to pay their respects to family members who have served in our armed forces, proudly displaying the medals that had been passed down through their generations.
