National Australian Space Design Competition

During the holidays, 11 of our dedicated students at Magdalene earned the opportunity to participate in the National Australian Space Design Competition (ASDC). This took place from the 17th January - 20th January, with our students arriving very early in Brisbane. Our Magdalene Students formed a team named "Orion" with James Ruse Agricultural High School, and St Michael's College. All three schools demonstrated excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.

We are pleased to announce that the team Orion earned 1st place in the competition, crowning them as our National Champions. Our students conducted themselves tirelessly with pride, respect, maturity and positivity over the weekend, qualities that truly earned them this well-deserved victory. As a result, select students will now have the opportunity to compete in Florida later this year for the international ASDC finals.
